The Mayde Creek-Katy football game has been rescheduled following the disclosure of a COVID-19 case within the Mayde Creek football program.
The varsity game will take place at 6 p.m. December 3 at Legacy Stadium. It was originally set for Thursday.
Katy will now play Cinco Ranch at 11 a.m. Saturday at Legacy Stadium. This was supposed to be an off week for the Cougars.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the Katy ISD, along with other school districts, to adjust sports schedules. The Mayde Creek game is the second game that Katy has had postponed due to a COVID-19 case. Its game against Tompkins, originally set for last week, has been postponed to November 27.
Katy and Cinco Ranch sub-varsity games are on schedule for Thursday.
The district also announced Monday afternoon that Katy would play Dickinson at 12 p.m. October 31 at Rhodes Stadium.

Friday
- Seven Lakes vs. Morton Ranch, 6:30 p.m., Legacy Stadium
- Tompkins vs. Taylor, 7:30 p.m., Rhodes Stadium
Saturday
- Katy vs. Cinco Ranch, 11 a.m., Legacy Stadium
