Fort Bend County Libraries will present a special “Writers’ Workshop” on Saturday, September 7, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, in the Multi-purpose Room of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.
Aspiring writers are invited to bring samples of their work to be critiqued. Those attending this workshop should plan to bring five copies of their 3- to 5-page manuscript, double-spaced, with pages numbered. Participants will work in groups to critique each other’s work, and will receive suggestions and guidance from guest authors Kristen Kiesling and Julie Wray Herman. Those who simply wish to observe the critiquing process are also invited to attend.
This program is made possible by the Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sale and annual membership dues help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the library.
