The HPRA Friday lunch speaker this week will be Derrick Broze, founder of The Conscious Resistance Network, an independent media organization. Mr. Broze is an ex-felon, a former drug addict, and today is a writer of books, a journalist, and a speaker at events in and outside the US. Mr. Broze will use his time as mayor to shut down corruption in city hall and “amplify” the voices of citizens.
