The presentation will feature Steve Robinson, who has worked as a legal counsel in public affairs since the early 1990’s, with particular interest in regional water authorities, municipal utility districts, and land development and infrastructure. After Hurricane Harvey, Mr. Robinson has been instrumental in advocating for and helping to secure flood control projects in the Greater Houston Area through the Houston Stronger organization.

“All of us in Harris and Fort Bend Counties were affected directly or indirectly by our recent floods. Many residents are still waiting to return to their homes or living in partially repaired residences,” said Wendy Duncan, Katy resident and co-founder of Barker Reservoir Flood Prevention. “There are steps we can take to ensure better flood control for the future, but first we need to learn more about what is being proposed and how we help protect our property in the future.”
