Lt. Governor Dan Patrick Endorsed by Texas Association of Manufacturers

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced the endorsement for his re- election from the Texas Association of Manufacturers today:

“As the leader of the Texas Senate, Lt. Governor Patrick worked to keep the tax burden low for employers, our workforce ready and continued the fight for sensible regulations. These measures work to advance a strong manufacturing climate in Texas and continue to grow quality manufacturing jobs that anchor our state’s robust economy,” said Tony Bennett, TAM President and MPACT Board Member.

“I am honored to have earned the support of the Texas Association of Manufacturers. Texas continues to be an economic leader and I plan to continue to fight for strong productivity and job growth in manufacturing and all industries across Texas,” Dan Patrick said upon receiving the endorsement.

Dan Patrick led the Texas Senate in the past two sessions by championing pro- growth and pro-business legislation. Bills supporting franchise tax reduction, support for Texas ports, creation of workforce-ready partnerships between K-12, higher education and industry have all passed out of the Texas Senate.

The Texas Association of Manufacturers works to educate, inform and empower our industry leaders, consumers, and policymakers with timely perspective on the issues and concerns impacting the industry and its members’ ability to create jobs, invest, expand and keep Texas prosperous.
