WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) today released the following statement after the Senate voted to proceed to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:
“Today we’re another step closer to reforming the nation’s antiquated, complex tax code for the first time in more than three decades.
