June 5, 2017 – Katy ISD is proud to announce Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Rolf as the recipient of the 2017 Diane Hendry Excellence in School Nursing Award. Ms. Rolf has been a nurse in Katy ISD since 2009 and is currently working at Cinco Ranch Junior High.
Ms. Rolf makes it a priority to keep her students and staff healthy throughout the school year. Her health initiatives, volunteerism and excellent communications skills have allowed her to implement various health programs at the school, which include immunization clinics, a fun run as well as a weight control program for her campus staff.
“She is a heads up nurse,” states Cinco Ranch Junior High Principal Elizabeth Nicklaus. “She keeps excellent records, communicates beautifully with parents, and serves as a wonderful member of the overall team.”
