Local Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority Members Partner with Child Advocates of Fort Bend On Behalf of Abused and Neglected Children

Local Kappa Alpha Theta sorority members toured Child Advocates of Fort Bend’s offices in Rosenberg recently to learn more about the agency and the children it serves. CASA is the charity of choice for the “Theta” sorority nationally and local sorority members announced on April 19 that they will serve as ambassadors for Child Advocates of Fort Bend by inviting friends and colleagues to a tour of Child Advocates to spread the word about child abuse and keep our children safe.

Child Advocates of Fort Bend is a non-profit agency dedicated to ending child abuse by providing a voice, healing the hurt, and breaking the cycle of child abuse in Fort Bend County. Through its Court Appointed Special Advocates Program (CASATM), Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) and more than 200 trained community volunteer advocates, Child Advocates of Fort Bend improves the lives of more than 400 children each month and has served more than 14,000 children since opening its doors in 1991.
