County and City officials held a ribbon‐cutting ceremony on Monday, March 6, 2017, to celebrate the completion of the Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road overpass.   The 1.2‐mile project is the final segment of the approximate 10 miles from Sienna Parkway to  US 90A/S. Main. 7.5 miles are within the Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority boundaries  (from Sienna Parkway to Sam Houston Tollway) and 2.5 miles are located inside the boundaries  of the Harris County Toll Road Authority (from Sam Houston Tollway to US 90A/S. Main). There  is no additional toll required to use the bridge/overpass. Fort Bend County Judge Bob Hebert  said, “This overpass is the missing link we’ve needed to make the Parkway a real value for the  residents of Sienna Plantation. Now traffic can flow to and from Loop 610 in Houston without a  controlled intersection.”
