Typhoon Texas Welcomes Local Music Talent Starting May 25

KATY, TX (May 21, 2019) – Typhoon Texas will host a summer-long showcase of rising artists in country music and pop sounds starting Saturday, May 25 at 4 p.m. when local singer/songwriter Cooper Wade takes to the Tidal Wave Bay performance stage as part of the waterpark’s grand opening weekend celebration.

The Spotlights Band, one of Houston’s leading Top 40’s variety music groups, will perform Sunday, May 26 from 4 – 6 p.m. to wrap up the waterpark’s first weekend of the 2019 summer season.

Live music performances at Typhoon Texas continue Saturday, June 1 with the Steele River Band starting at 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 with Austin’s Cap City Band also starting at 5 p.m.

Typhoon Texas is located at 555 Katy Fort Bend Rd. next to Katy Mills Mall, 1.5 miles west of the Grand Parkway.  Free onsite parking is available.
