About Hayden Baker

Texas native, Hayden Baker, has gone from posting cover songs and “how-to” guitar tutorials on YouTube, to opening for some of country music’s biggest stars in the span of just a few short years. In May of 2016, he caught the attention of Brad Paisley, who complimented Hayden’s performance of his song, “Without a Fight,” on Twitter. Then again in 2018 Brad posted a video of Hayden on his own Instagram praising Hayden for his performance of Brad’s song “Bucked Off”. The video received over 50,000 views in the first day. He credits watching Brad at the Houston Rodeo as a defining moment in his desire to become a performer himself.

In December of 2018, Hayden released his first album entitled, “Born In The Wrong Generation”. He has received praise for both his guitar playing and songwriting skills from many industry giants; including Ronnie Dunn, Clay Walker, and his guitar hero, Brad Paisley. As Clay put it, “You have to be born with the gift of songwriting to be successful. This kid was born with it!”

Hayden’s love for classic country music and the great storytellers of past generations has helped to set the foundation for his songwriting and live shows. In his original music and live shows, you’ll hear everything from tear jerking ballads reminiscent of the 90’s to up tempo honky tonk songs, to ripping guitar instrumentals. Though he has only been performing for a short time, he has accomplished more than most could dream of doing in their career. In November of 2018, Hayden and his band “Southern Symphony” stood in front of 5,000+ and opened the show for the great Willie Nelson at The Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land,

  1. He has also opened for the likes of Larry Gatlin, Tracy Lawrence and Joe Nichols.
