KATY [October 5, 2018] – It wasn’t just the first, the second, nor the third spot on the list of 2019 Top 10 Public Elementary Schools in the Houston area, Katy Independent School District took all 10 of them plus six additional ones, claiming the top 16 spots on the list!
Niche, an educational data analysis site, compiles data from the Department of Education as well as student and teacher surveys to determine the list of top schools. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings and the overall quality of the school district. Last year Katy ISD swept the list as well claiming the top 15 spots.

- Keiko Davidson Elementary
- Roosevelt Alexander Elementary
- Roberta Wright Rylander Elementary
- Hazel S. Pattison Elementary
- Ray & Jamie Wolman Elementary
- Jeanette Hayes Elementary
- James E. Randolph Elementary
Katy ISD has a total of 41 elementary schools with an overall district enrollment of close to 80,000 students.
