HOUSTON— Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is celebrating 35 years of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM is observing this occasion with an Interfaith Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 10 starting at 7:30 a.m. at The Harrell Family Opportunity Center located behind NAM’s main building at 15555 Kuykendahl. Breakfast will be served up with reflection upon NAM’s 35 years of service within the community. Congregation partners, friends of NAM, staff, and members of the media are all invited to attend.
The event is free, but an RSVP is required by Thursday, May 3 to events@namonline.org.
Northwest Assistance Ministries is a non-profit, community-based social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas such as food, shelter, health, education and domestic violence awareness and intervention.
