Harris County – Today, Harris County Commissioner’s Court appointed Laurie L. Christensen as Harris County Fire Marshal. Christensen’s appointment is effective immediately.
“I am honored to be appointed Harris County Fire Marshal and look forward to continuing to serve the residents of Harris County,” said Fire Marshal Laurie L. Christensen. “Ensuring the safety of the community from any fire loss is my number one priority.”
“Chief Christensen has decades of experience, not only in the fire service, but also law enforcement,” said Judge Ed Emmett. “She has been an integral part of the the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office and Harris County government for many years, and we are excited for her appointment and confirmation.”
