Students who would like to have more information on colleges in Texas and elsewhere are invited to attend a special “College Fair” at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library on Thursday, February 22, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.
Representatives from colleges and universities will be on hand to share information about their programs with current high school students and their parents or guardians. Students will have the opportunity to learn about educational opportunities available at the colleges, as well as admission requirements, financial aid, student housing, and more.
Colleges from Texas that will be represented include: the Art Institute of Houston, Baylor University, Lone Star College – CyFair, Prairie View A&M University, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University – Galveston, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, Texas Women’s University, Trinity University, the University of Houston – Downtown, the University of Houston – Victoria, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
Out-of-state colleges that will be represented include: Auburn University, Florida Institute of Technology, LSU, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Northern Arizona University, the University of Alabama, the University of Missouri, the University of South Alabama, the University of South Carolina, the University of Tennessee, the University of Tulsa, and West Virginia University.
