WHAT:
Uh oh! Looks like the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center – A Very Special Project of the Children’s Museum of Houston is in a sticky situation! Three types of slime have breached our walls, and each one has a mind of its own! During this slime-filled day, you’re invited to help us overcome mutant slime! Are you up for the challenge? Advance registration required
SPECIAL EVENTS:
- Galaxy Slime: Sparkly star dust glitters from a shimmery slime sent from across the universe.
- The Blob Slime: Indestructible. Nothing can stop it! It changes shape and texture.
- Guar Gum Slime: Ooey, gooey, rich and gluey. Analyze Guar Gum’s components.

HOURS/COST:
- MUSEUM HOURS: – Sat.: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Slime Age Requirement: Children 6 and up with accompanying adult.
- $5 workshop fee (in addition to admission cost).
- General Museum admission: $12 per person and $11 for seniors 65+ and for active duty military personnel. Children under one and Museum Members receive free admission.
