TPWD, Friends of Reservoir Group Planting Native Vegetation at John Paul’s Landing

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department fisheries biologists and the local Friends of Reservoir group will be planting native vegetation at John Paul’s Landing Monday morning to enhance fishing opportunities at the new lake. The cool thing about this Friends of Reservoir group is that it’s not your traditional bass club adopting a big reservoir; it’s the Magnolia West high school fishing team. This is their first big project since the kids adopted the lake, and it could make for a nice community interest story.
