The Congressional Update with Congressman Pete Olson hosted by the Central Fort Bend Chamber will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Safari Texas Ranch, 11627 FM 1464 Richmond, Texas.
During the breakfast, Congressman Olson will give an update on legislative affairs and other happenings in Congress over the past year. Topics covered by Olson will include jobs and the economy, the election, natural resources, military status, and other issues affecting Fort Bend County.
Congressman Olson has served in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2009 for the 22nd District, which serves Fort Bend County. At the event, he will be recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and presented with the Spirit of Enterprise Award for his efforts and support for pro-jobs, and engaging in pro-business policies that help strengthen our Nation.
