Nondiscrimination Notice for Calvin Nelms Charter School 2017-2018

The office for Civil Rights of the United States Department of Education requires schools districts to provide career and technical education (CTE) programs, services and activities in accordance with the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and the Section 504 of the rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

Prior to the beginning of each school year, every LEA providing CTE programs must advise students, parents, employees and the general public that all career and technical education opportunities will be offered without regard to race, color, national origin, sex or disability.

Calvin Nelms Charter School will be offering the following CTE classes for the 2017-2018 year:  Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology, Health Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Principles of Business, Marketing & Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Concepts of Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, Principles of Technology, Wildlife, Fisheries & Ecology Management, Landscape Design, Turf Grass Management, Forensic Science, Child Development, Child Guidance, Career Preparation 1 & 2.
