Spring Shoe Drive to Fund Stafford’s Cat Trap-Neuter-Return was a Great Success.

  

               Dedication and determination from hundreds of Fort Bend County residents and
several local companies in Stafford resulted in 2,775 pairs of shoes collected in 2 months!
The community empoweredto save lives of community cats in
Stafford.
Hunting Energy in Stafford took the lead and contributed to over one third of our
               collection. Apex Cheer in Stafford took second place. With over a dozen of area
captains diligently using social media and engaging circle of friends, neighbhors
to be part of the solution of saving lives, we exceeded the minimun amount of 2,500 pairs.

We also wanted to thank Carlton Staffing Service in Stafford for their generous monetary
donation. We collected close to $2,000 in all these efforts. Janet Starr, our tireless star
volunteer, instrumentally initiated a month of free rent from UHaul Moving and Storage in
Stafford. That was a tremendous help and thanks to Janet and U-Haul ! Fort Bend Pets
Alive! is grateful to all the help and love we have receive during this fundraising process.
The enthusiasm is incredible because compassion is contagious. We know again,
we live in a great communtiy with thousands and thousands of animal lovers!
