How to work with local fire departments to raise awareness and reduce risks in your community

Harris County ESD 48 Fire Department (HCESD 48) personnel will give an informative tutorial on their newest effort to help their residents address common fire hazards within the home.
The Home Safety Survey is a key part of HCESD 48’s Community Risk Reduction strategy, and they will be sharing an overview of the program (hazards identified, prevention education, exit drills, and common recommendations) as well as their vision for how, with the help of area Municipal Utility Districts and neighboring Fire Departments, you can help spread this life-saving program across Harris and Fort Bend counties.
