Creative Cookie-Decorating Tips For Teens

Fulshear-area teens can welcome spring by surprising their sweetheart, family, or friends with cookies that they have decorated themselves. Fort Bend County Libraries’ Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library will present a special program specifically for teens in grades 9 through 12, “Spring Cookie-Decorating for Young Adults,” on Monday, March 13, beginning at 3:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8100 FM 359 South in Fulshear.
Learn how to dress up your cookies with easy, festive, decorative touches. Library staff member Michelle Moreno will demonstrate basic decorating methods as well as tips and tricks to make cookie-decorating hassle-free.
Materials for this program are made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sales and annual membership dues help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the library.
The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are encouraged. Registration will open on February 27. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Events,” select “Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-4675, or by visiting the library.
