President of Rotary International Visits Katy

Recently, the President of Rotary International, John Germ, on his trip to Texas visited the Freedom Park Memorial Tower. Germ’s responsibilities as International President is to guide 1.2. members in over 200 countries around the world, in projects ranging from serving Humanitarians needs, local, national and worldwide and the eradication of Polio in the World.

Rhonda Walls, local Attorney, and Katy Rotary Club member, was the Master of Ceremonies State Representative, Mike Schofield, presented President Germ with a Certificate of Welcome and Texas Flag flown over the Capital, Commissioner, Andy Meyers, presented President Germ with a Resolution of Welcome from Fort Bend County, and Katy Mayor, Fabol Hughes, presented President Germ with a Proclamation of Welcome and Declaration of John Germ day in the City of Katy. Katy Rotary club, President welcomed President Germ with local gifts.
