The Texas Comptroller’s office approved and paid out a record $309 million in unclaimed property during the past fiscal year, Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today. Comptroller’s Office: Food Banks Could Claim Enough Unclaimed Property to Feed Thousands

The Comptroller’s office is working with food banks throughout the state to check the agency’s unclaimed property website for funds that could help fill their pantries during this holiday season.
