Ashley Atwood practices in the areas of corporate/ transactional law including advising clients on corporate formation and structure, entity selection, mergers and acquisitions, conversion and dissolution, contract negotiating, drafting and reviewing.
Ashley's estate planning practice includes pet related trusts as well as the most common documents, wills, powers of attorney (both medical and durable) and directive to physicians. Ashley practices Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and assists her client's to receive a fresh start through that process.
Additionally Ashley handles the corporate formality requirements and registered agent duties for Levin & Atwood's corporate clients. Ashley has a down to earth approach to the practice of law and in assisting her clients with their corporate and personal legal needs.

John Atwood attended The University of Texas at Austin, the University of Houston Main Campus, and South Texas College of Law. He holds a B.B.A. and a J.D. Prior to attending law school John worked as an international drilling contractor for 20 years, thus bringing perspective to the practice of law that few attorneys can match. After college, service in the Marine Corps, and working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, John moved to Singapore where he continued to work in the drilling business.
He has worked in operations, marketing, purchasing and construction. He lived and traveled overseas continuously, mainly Southeast Asia, South America, the Middle East and Europe, and has negotiated and written as well as operated under, contracts for both domestic and overseas drilling operations.
John Atwood practices primarily in the area of corporate transactional law including advising clients on corporate formation and structure, merger and acquisition, contracts, franchise agreements, and regulatory compliance. He also works with non-profit companies, including several Volunteer Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Service Providers. He also handles Probate cases.

Stu served as an Assistant Staff Judge advocate where he practiced as an administrative law judge, prosecutor, or defense counsel in over eight hundred actions. Thereafter, Stu practiced in the oil and gas industry by serving as in-house counsel for Panhandle Eastern/Trunkline Gas, Mitchell Energy Corp., and The Coastal Corporation.
In these positions, Stu was engaged in general corporate and administrative law, acquisitions, contracts, antitrust law, land development, litigation management, regulatory compliance and arbitration
In the late 1980s, Stu entered private practice. His practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate transactional matters including corporate organization and structure, merger and acquisition, and real estate.
Stu also practices in the area of estate planning, assisting clients in the selection of estate planning tools and drafting estate planning documents such as wills, living trusts, life insurance trusts, living wills, durable powers of attorney, and durable health care powers of attorney.
