[TEXAS] — Harmony Public Schools, the largest STEM-focused charter public school network in Texas, is now accepting applications for new students for the 2027-2028 school year. The annual Open Enrollment period runs from Nov. 1 through Feb. 10, 2027, with applications accepted at Harmony campuses statewide and online at HarmonyTX.org/Apply.

Harmony offers a free public education with special emphasis on Project-Based STEM Learning, College Prep, Career Readiness, and Character Education to PreK-12 students at 65 campuses statewide.

Harmony Public Schools continues to be a statewide leader in STEM education, committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college, in the workforce, and in life. Our students continue to excel academically, earning numerous state and national recognitions. In the most recent Texas Education Agency accountability ratings, 48 of Harmony’s 65 campuses earned an “A” or “B” rating. All seven Harmony districts across Texas also earned either an “A” or “B,” each scoring 85 or higher.

Additionally, 35 Harmony campuses earned four or more TEA distinctions for Postsecondary Readiness, Closing the Gaps, Academic Progress, and subject-specific excellence. And three of Harmony’s newest campuses — Harmony Science Academy-Bridgeland, Harmony Science Academy-Georgetown, and Harmony Science Academy-Leander — all earned “A” ratings in their first TEA ratings since opening in the 2025-26 school year.

Families new to Harmony must submit their applications by Feb. 10, 2027 to be considered for each district’s enrollment lottery. Applications can be submitted online online at HarmonyTX.org/Apply or at the nearest Harmony campus. (To find a school near you, visit HarmonyTX.org/Schools).

To ensure fairness to all applicants, any Harmony campus that receives more applications than there are seats available will randomize all applications and select students via blind lottery. Each campus will set a date for its lottery within two weeks of the application deadline. Parents will be notified in the spring if their students have been selected for enrollment or placed on a waiting list.
