On Saturday, Oct. 18, luxury and compassion will meet at the Tidal Aviation Hangar near Katy for a night that is as glamorous as it is generous.
The second-annual fundraiser is proudly presented by West Point Lincoln and West Point Lincoln of Sugar Land. Set inside the stunning Houston Executive Airport located in Brookshire, this gala will feature high-stakes casino action, a showcase of private planes and exotic cars, and unforgettable live entertainment — all to support children with cancer and critically ill children in need of reliable transportation.
From blackjack and poker to craps and roulette, guests will roll the dice generously for charity and go all in for a powerful mission — ensuring that children battling cancer and critically-ill children have safe, comfortable, and even joyful rides to their medical appointments.
Dream Rydes, a Greater Houston- and Galveston-based nonprofit, provides critically ill children with reliable transportation to medical appointments — and once-in-a-lifetime “Rydes” in dream cars, planes, boats, and helicopters. Each ride delivers comfort, hope and joy to children and their families, often during their toughest moments.
This year’s gala is generously sponsored by West Point Lincoln and West Point Lincoln of Sugar Land, where owners Chris and Denise Poulo know the fight all too well. Chris is a cancer survivor, and the couple is committed to ensuring that no child misses treatment due to lack of transportation.
“Every child that is fighting this horrible disease needs a chance to get to their appointment safely and soundly. We are helping families be at ease knowing that their child will make their appointment every time,” philanthropist Denise Poulos said.
