Have you ever traveled with Airbnb? Airbnb connects hosts who rent their apartments or rooms with guests who want to spend a few days in a city and want to live in a real home and enjoy the place as one more inhabitant.
The hosts rent their homes when they spend a few days away, so you stay in a private apartment and enjoy an experience that is not very touristy and very flexible. So you can try to use the services of Estaga – company to manage Airbnb and follow the recommendations we have provided.
Step #1. Find a flat
Open the website and type in the city, the dates you want to travel, and the number of guests. And the website will show you a general list of properties of all types throughout the city and in any price range.
Step #2. Filter the information
It is time to filter the information to get the ideal proposal. Select if you want to rent the entire property or a private or shared room (the latter two are in a shared apartment). You can also set a minimum and maximum price per night.
Step #3. Choose an area on the map
It’s time to choose an area. By default, apartments throughout the city will be displayed on the map; you just have to expand to a specific neighborhood and see other flats that were hidden in the general view. When you have chosen the area or region, click on the icons on each floor to see detailed information. If one of the images catches your eye, hover over it (without clicking), and the color on the map will change so you know where it is.
Step #4. Choose an apartment and read the details
If any of the flats on the list piques your interest, carefully read the information provided by Estaga before making a reservation. These are some factors you should take into account:
- Total: It is shown on the right. This is the final price of the stay you have selected and includes the cost of the apartment, cleaning fees (if any), and the service fee.
- Photos: Take a look at all the photos, so you don’t get any surprises. Click on one, and you will see the complete gallery.
- Map: Sometimes, the address the host indicates does not exactly match the actual address of the apartment, but it is always close to the position on the map.
- Calendar: In the calendar, you can see on which dates the apartment is free and occupied, and also the price per night for each day.
- Description and services: You should read the description and services of the apartment so as not to get any unpleasant surprises. This is where the host provides all the necessary information—whether the apartment is equipped with towels, bedding, and appliances, the floor it is located on, and if it has an elevator or the number of rooms it has.
- A minimum stay and long stays: Some owners establish a minimum number of nights and a discount for weekly or monthly stays.
- Security deposit: This is a deposit (optional, not all hosts ask for it) that can be charged in case the host makes a claim for damage to the apartment.
- Additional people: The price for the number of guests you have indicated is already included in the total amount. If you want to add more guests, in this section, you can check the price for each additional person.
- Cleaning costs: Many hosts charge a cleaning fee, which is included in the final price but is specified in this section for you to know.
- Cancellation: Very important! Airbnb has four types of cancellation policies: flexible, moderate, strict, and super strict. Depending on the type, if you decide to cancel your reservation, you will be refunded the full amount or only part of it. This depends on how many days in advance you cancel it. Read carefully what the cancellation policy of your apartment is before booking.
- Reviews: They are written by other guests who have stayed in an apartment under consideration. After your stay in an apartment, you can also leave your review for others to read, and the host can also leave a review about you.
- Information about the host: Information about the host is displayed at the bottom of the screen: which flats are provided for rent, when was the last time the calendar was updated, etc. If you have any questions about the flat, do not hesitate to contact an owner before booking.
Finally, book the flat and enjoy your stay!
