Accessories are quite standard on the Mighty + but have been added to a dosing capsule. “Dosage capsules” are small doses that you can throw into the room to use the powerful “microdose” function. Microdosing allows you to use only a small amount, usually specified, of dry grass for a lighter effect.
You can also bring a WPA (water pipe adapter) and some glass to take home. I have found that this method is very convenient when watching shows or playing games at home. For more information, see my Mighty & Crafty + water pipe adapter guide.
Heating and temperature information
Hybrid heating style – Mighty + uses a convection and convection heating method, also known as a hybrid. This way you can create a dense and aromatic steam extremely consistently and without mixing.
Temperature Options: Mighty Plus has a 1 × 1 LED display with easy-to-use buttons on the side to control the temperature. A bit like the Volcano Hybrid, but on a much smaller scale. You can select any temperature from 105-410F at any time during your steam session.
It is good to have this exact control for different types of herbs or simply by steaming at different times of the day. Different temperatures, different effects. Mighty does NOT use the smartphone app like Crafty, you can do everything in the heat yourself.
Warm-up Time: The new Mighty Plus takes about 60 seconds to warm up, which is faster than Crafty + but generally a bit slower than the rest of the competition. Once warmed up, the Mighty holds up well when skiing in the winter.
Chamber information
Chamber size Mighty +: Mighty plus bowl holds approximately 0.25 grams of dry herb, depending on the type of grinding and load in the room. You can get more than 0.3 grams with a super good grind.
I can usually toss a full bowl in about a dozen or less, which makes the sessions faster than most session evaporators. Mighty + is extremely easy to use.
Usage and loading techniques
How to use the powerful evaporator: Press the power button and it will heat up automatically at the set temperature. It shows the preset temperature, current temperature and remaining battery life. Keep without buttons or batteries. Just wait for it to heat up and you’re good to go. It’s easy.
Charging Your Power – Simply charge the bar, re-enter the Mighty + cooling unit and turn on the evaporator. ALSO Crafty + and Mighty have the same filling method, but Mighty has a slightly larger cooling unit on top.
Battery information (USB-C charging)
In this category, Mighty + shines especially with the recently improved USB-C charging options! Mighty Plus is my most valued portable evaporator for battery life.
Average battery life: I was able to finish an average of 8 sessions before the battery ran out. This is over 90 minutes with average continuous use.
I’m not sure if Mighty + has a full transfer fee as I do not have the USB-C Supercharger yet. At the moment Mighty + can be used while charging, but it seems to have a partial switch, which means it will take a bit of battery life to charge + use. You can not tie it and use it from death.
Charging time: With extra batteries and battery life, Mighty + required a lot of charging power. The good news is that the new Mighty + evaporator is USB-C charged and can be charged almost anywhere. The downside is that it takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge the Mighty + evaporator using a 2A 5V block as it only charges at 15 watts.
You should get the USB-C supercharger on the Storz and Bickel website, which charges Mighty + at 80% in 40 minutes and charges much faster overall. The Storz and Bickel USB-C charger can be charged with 15V 3A, while the Mighty + can be charged with 45 watts.
Super steam quality
PAX 3 emits a very dense, high quality, soft and fragrant steam. The output unit we tested for our PAX 3 test hit the highest temperature of four in about 30 seconds. You can use the smartphone app to adjust preset heat levels in one-step steps.
Easy to use
We love the simple and intuitive controls of Pax 3 Vaporizer. A single button hidden in the speaker controls everything, and the distinctive “flower bloom” lights tell you everything you need to know.
Press a button and it lights up. Press again, it’s over. Do you need to change the temperature? Simply hold down the button for a few seconds to enter temperature control mode. We really appreciate the deviation from the main clicks of all the other manufacturers.
The PAX Labs logo on the front has four LED lights that tell you everything from the battery level to the current temperature, as well as when the device is warming up and when it is ready for use.
Don’t like to press buttons and want to check battery life or exit Temp mode? Instead, give it a try. The PAX 3 also vibrates when it is ready, so you know what is happening when you are not looking.
