More on the Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate of Religious Education is intended to accomplish a dual purpose; as foundational for students with no prior qualification in theology and professional development for Religious Education teachers. For both types of students, it provides a launchpad for more serious and detailed study.
This course consists of four-course units undertaken part-time over two years. Students have to participate in single- one hour online tutorials per week. This arrangement is excellent for students to balance their work and study undertakings.
This format is already a great hit with the students.
“We’ve also received great feedback on the practical nature of the course content. It has been so great to hear about how our students are applying their learnings in their classrooms the very next day.”
Despite the challenges occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, Campion is committed to face-to-face learning interactions.
Dr. Morrisey, President of Campion College, opines that “Being part of a community of learning is a hallmark of a liberal arts education”.
“For this reason, we will continue to prioritize face-to-face learning for as long as pandemic restrictions allow us to. Fortunately, our emphasis on smaller lectures and tutorials place us in a much better position to remain on campus and adapt quickly compared to much larger institutions.”
In fulfilment of this commitment, all the lectures and tutorials for the undergraduate students of liberal arts will be held at the Toongabbie Campus, Western Sidney.
All state government safety guidelines with respect to physical distancing and hygiene measures will be strictly adhered to. Campion has contingency plans in place should there be any changes to these guidelines.
