I’ve been in the news business since the early ‘70s and an ordained minister since 1980. From my earliest years in school, however, my focus has been on end-time Bible prophecy. Being what is called a “research journalist,” I’ve got over 140 topics that I cover and research on a regular ongoing basis from an end-time biblical perspective.
Through outlets like this, plus nine personal websites, a weekly quarter-hour podcast and weekly half-hour Zoom interviews, this ministry has always brought focus to the signs of Christ’s soon return through the auspices of evolving world headlines and trends.
I started the Christian News Network on a number of Christian radio stations across the country from 1980-87, bringing together professional broadcasters who were Christians reporting world news with a biblical worldview. Our Inspirations
On national television back in 1962 when I was 12 years old, I heard Billy Graham say these words: “World events are moving very rapidly now. I pick up the Bible in one hand and I pick up the newspaper in the other and I read almost the same words in the newspaper as I read in the Bible. Those predictions are coming to pass so rapidly now. It’s wonderful to note that the Bible is still true and it’s being fulfilled every day round about us.”
Similarly, I remember something that Sir Isaac Newton said back in the 17th or 18th century when he spoke about the times of the end: “A body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies and insist upon their literal interpretation in the midst of much clamour and opposition.”
Indeed, I can’t help but feel a connection with that prediction. This is what I’ve been doing my entire professional career!
But, perhaps the most telling comment that stirs me the most in this work is one attributed to the late-Henry Spock, as he reviewed world conditions from his position as Secretary General of NATO during the Kennedy administration: “We do not want another committee. We have too many already. What we want is a man — a man of sufficient stature to lift us out of the economic morass into which we were sinking. Send us such a man — and whether he be God or devil, we shall receive him.”
If you know anything about Bible prophecy, that unbelievable statement is a hint directly to the one we know prophetically as the Antichrist, who is predicted to be Earth’s final dictator immediately before Jesus returns! He will even present himself to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
A Legacy in Prophecy
My work in end-time prophecy in today’s times earnestly began in the early-to-mid ‘70s with the publishing of my earliest works. My primary focus at the time (1972) was on the coming cashless society and one world government, both predicted in scripture for the last days. By 1974, my first book was published: “Cashless Society: A World without Money.” Having less than 50 pages, the book went worldwide and was translated into 15 different languages.
The front cover featured two humanoid figures, one having a body likened to today’s debit/credit cards, complete with a black stripe on one side. When I designed that cover, black stripes on cards did not exist. The debit card did not yet exist.
In the book, I mentioned a day coming when there would be a central computer overseeing all of our financial transactions. Soda machines would require a personal number to make a purchase. That same number would be used at all checkout stands and, eventually, to gain entrance and exit at most venues. The Internet did not exist at the time, so I called the central computer “Cencom.” Nearly 20 years later (1991), the Internet (“Cencom”) went public.
I also mentioned that the day would come when groceries would be purchased with our wristwatches. That began in earnest around 2020 during the Covid pandemic when the public grew increasingly weary of using cash.
In 2000, my second book came out – “The Embedded Internet: the Final Evolution.” We talked about how “the Internet will one day be attached to everything you touch and everything that touches you.” Indeed, that’s where we are today with Internet connected sensors everywhere, known as the Internet of Things (IOT). As of 2025, the number of IoT connected devices topped 20 billion worldwide. Included in this total is clothing, wearable electronic devices (smartphones, etc.), smart homes, automobiles, streets and more.
