GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (August 4, 2026) – The decision for best Texas wines is in your hands at the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic sponsored by Audi Grapevine. The Largest Consumer Judged Wine Tasting Competition in the Nation takes place at the 40th Annual GrapeFest® – A Texas Wine Experience presented by Bank of the West. This year’s festival takes place September 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2026 on Historic Main Street in Grapevine.
The 40th Annual GrapeFest® theme, Connecting Wine Traditions, One Glass at a Time, celebrates the festival’s legacy of bringing together winemakers and wine lovers since its debut in 1987. This year’s event features 40 wineries pouring more than 100 wines. During one of ten 90-minute tasting sessions, you’ll receive a souvenir wine glass, meet Texas winemakers and sample their varietals before casting your vote in 10 categories: White: Dry, Semi Sweet, Sweet, Blends and Blush/Rosé; Red: Light, Medium, Bold, Sweet and Red Blends.
