Brazos County Generals Endorse Colonel Scott MacLeod for Congress

Brazos County, TX — , candidate for Congress in Texas’ 10th Congressional District, today announced the endorsement of Major General (Ret.) Daren Owens and Major General (Ret.) Bill Hall, two respected senior leaders with deep roots in Brazos County and decades of service to Texas and the nation.

Major General Daren Owens praised MacLeod’s leadership, character, and understanding of national security and rural issues:

“I’ve spent my career leading soldiers in complex, high-risk environments where judgment, discipline, and character matter. Scott MacLeod has demonstrated those same qualities throughout his service. He understands national security, respects the rule of law, and he understands the importance of protecting America’s farmers and ranchers who ensure food security for this country and steward the land. Scott understands the issues important to our district and puts people ahead of politics. He is the kind of proven leader District 10 and Texas need in Congress. I am proud to endorse him.”

Major General Bill Hall echoed those sentiments, emphasizing MacLeod’s proven leadership under pressure:

“I know what real leadership looks like. Scott MacLeod has led under pressure. He understands national security at every level, and has the character and experience we need in Congress.”

Colonel MacLeod, a 31-year combat veteran, former Border Commander, and small business owner, said he was honored by the endorsements:

“Coming from leaders who have spent their lives serving Texas and this nation, these endorsements mean a great deal to me. General Owens and General Hall know what it takes to lead when lives are on the line. I’m grateful for their support and committed to bringing that same level of seriousness, discipline, and service to Congress.”

The endorsements underscore MacLeod’s growing support among veterans, national security leaders, and rural Texans who are seeking principled, experienced leadership focused on defending the nation, tackling our national debt, and fighting for Texas farmers and ranchers.
