Thoughts on meditation, from the desk of Dr. Oswald Green:
Some valuable reminders about life’s journey: it does not matter who you are or your status in life.
Forging Forward in 2026 With Confidence:
As you step through the doorways of 2026, many of you did not arrive untouched by challenges, trials, and maybe tears along your journeys through 2025. Many may have encountered tests of faith, patience, and strength; however, you endured into 2026. Clearly, if you are reading this column, you made it over the threshold into the new year, seeking to start afresh. Rest assured, God is still working with you.
Some of you may have doubted that you would survive the storms of the year. You lost opportunities things, people, even confidence in yourself at times yet you kept focusing on your purpose. Whatever it was in 2025 that tried to break you may have strengthened you to go forward in 2026. The challenges you went through gave you courage you never thought you possessed.
We are reminded in Scripture (Isaiah 43:18–19): “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing.” Try to understand: new might not be easy; however, there are possibilities.
When you forge forward into 2026, do not carry past failures into tomorrow’s future. Remember, God has already forgiven your past guilt when you ask Him to. Let go of fear. Walk with the confidence that serves you best. Accept the healing you receive from God—it is enough—and keep walking by faith. “All the steps in life will not be known to you; just remember, the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Psalm 37:23). To our listeners and readers, don’t rush what God has for you. However, don’t stay stuck in life. In 2026, forge forward with confidence.
