What: Commissioner Lesley Briones, in partnership with Harris County Public Health (HCPH) and Harris Health, is offering FREE flu vaccines for children and adults at Precinct 4 community centers.
With a new flu variant circulating and the holiday travel season approaching, it is especially important that residents get vaccinated.
Commissioner Briones also launched new public service announcements in English and Spanish, sharing the message that an annual flu vaccine is the best way to reduce your risk of the flu and prevent severe outcomes or complications.
Through her commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare resources, Commissioner Briones is ensuring families get the services they need to protect themselves and their loved ones this holiday season and beyond.
Residents are encouraged to register online or call 832-927-7350.
We invite you to share the PSAs highlighting the importance of the flu shot and vaccine locations in any coverage of the potentially severe flu season.
