HOUSTON, TX – Beginning Monday, November 3, 2025, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office will roll out a new website designed to help residents quickly and easily locate their towed vehicles.
The website, FindMyTowedCar.org<https://hctx.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2388251539568ca9658e38730&id=2a3cc90dcc&e=ab930dcd70>, provides 24/7 access to information about vehicles towed in unincorporated Harris County—whether from crash scenes, private property tows, or repossessions.
Residents can simply select “Harris County” on the site and enter their license plate number, VIN number, or the date and location where their car was towed. The system will then display details about the vehicle’s storage location, including the company’s name, address, phone number, and approximate fees.
Information is available within approximately two hours of a tow, and vehicles will no longer appear once released from storage.
