What:
Commissioner Lesley Briones is hosting a free wellness event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This event will offer educational resources and wellness activities to help residents take charge of their health. Attendees will participate in a resource fair, take a one-mile nature walk, and hear survivors share their stories.
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, yet early detection can save lives. By removing barriers to preventive care, Commissioner Briones aims to ensure that every resident—regardless of income, insurance status, or background—has access to lifesaving screenings and information.
Residents are encouraged to register online at cp4.harriscountytx.gov.
