It has been over seven months since 17-year-old Sara Martinez went missing, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is asking for the public’s help to bring her home.

Sara disappeared on Dec. 28, 2024, after leaving her home in Fort Worth, Texas. Her mother, Samantha Perez, said she saw Sara in bed at 1 a.m., but when she woke up the next morning, her daughter was nowhere to be found. Samantha emphasized that Sara has never gone missing before, and this is very out of character.

Sara’s family is deeply concerned for her safety and won’t stop searching until she is home where she belongs. Samantha shared that Sara is very close with her family and has not been in contact with anyone since she vanished. She hopes this message will reach Sara: “We love you and miss you terribly. We think about you every day and pray that we find you soon. We will never stop looking for you.”

Sara is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 100 pounds when she was last seen. She has brown eyes and black hair with purple highlights. Authorities believe that Sara may stay in the local or surrounding areas or may travel out of state.

If you have any information about Sara or her disappearance, please contact NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Fort Worth Police Department (Texas) at 1-817-392-4222.
