Thomanerchor Leipzig Performs Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Stude Concert Hall
Bach Society Houston proudly presents the world-renowned St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig (Thomanerchor Leipzig) in Houston as part of its eight-city USA Tour. Under the direction of Thomaskantor Andreas Reize, this distinguished boys’ choir will perform a program of sacred and classical works that highlight its deep connection to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, who served as its music director from 1723 to 1750, and other masters.
Executive Director Rachel Dvoretzky shares, “We are thrilled to host the St. Thomas Choir’s return to Houston after 12 years, celebrating artistic excellence and cultural connection with our sister city, Leipzig.”
