Sugar Land (Oct. 15, 2024)—The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation has opened the call for artists to participate in the 2025 Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest, a two-day festival sponsored by PrimeWay Credit Union that highlights the artistic talent and cultural diversity of Fort Bend County and beyond.
Created by the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation, now celebrating 25 years, the festival is a celebration of artistic diversity and is open to all professional and amateur artists specializing in 14 different mediums, including calligraphy, ceramic/pottery, photography, painting, drawing, mixed media, and much more.
“Since its inception, the Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest has seen increasing participation from artists from the local, national, and even international levels,” said Debra Jan, artist committee chair for the Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest. “The Arts Fest committee fosters an environment that celebrates professional and amateur artists for their talent and creativity. As a participating artist, I strongly encourage others to take part in this vibrant and inspirational event.”
The Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest will accept artists’ applications through March 1, 2025. For those interested in exhibiting, the Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest website provides more information about the various categories, participation fees, and how to apply.
“The Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest is an ideal platform for artists of all levels to exhibit and sell their artwork, drawing attendance from the Greater Houston metro area population of 5 million,” said Tim Stubenrouch, President of the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation. “As one of the fastest growing suburban areas in the Houston metro area, Sugar Land offers tremendous exposure for artists to showcase their talent and creativity.”
Now entering its fourth year, the 2025 Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest will be held on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land. The event promises something for everyone, with live entertainment, cuisine from local restaurants, a children’s activity tent, and a wine and beer garden, making it a perfect weekend outing for families and art enthusiasts alike.
