The Lone Star Flight Museum Hosts Easter Egg Hunt in the Hangars,

WHAT: Grab your Peeps and Head to the Lone Star Flight Museum Easter Egg Hunt!

Little aviators up to 10 years old can join their age group to hunt for Easter eggs around our aircraft. More than 6,000 eggs filled with toys or candy will surround our planes! Families will also enjoy the museum exhibits, participate in the craft tables, take a ride in the flight simulators or visit the gift shop. And of course there’s more than two dozen amazing aircraft, the MaxFlight full motion simulator, the Flight Academy exhibit, Heritage Gallery and the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. All experiences are all included with a general admission ticket.  BYOB – Bring Your Own Basket!

The museum will open one hour early to start the fun! Opening at 9 a.m.

Discount tickets from 9-11 a.m. ($10 – adults / $5 – kids up to 10 yrs)

Regular ticket pricing begins at 11 a.m.

Discounts or coupons cannot be applied to the reduced ticket price.

Easter Egg Hunt:

  • 9 a.m.   Doors open! – $5 Admission for Kids and $10 for adults.
  • 9:30 – 9:45 a.m. Ages 3 and younger in Heritage Hangar
  • 9:50 – 10:05 a.m. Ages 4 & 6 in Waltrip Hangar
  • 10:10 – 10:25 a.m. Ages 7 & 8 in Heritage Hangar
  • 10:30 – 10:45 a.m. Ages 9 & 10 in Waltrip Hangar

More Easter Activities:

9-11 a.m. – The Easter bunny will be hopping around the hangars!

10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Eggstronaut Activity – Protect that Egg! Make a safe housing unit for your egg, then toss it over our 2nd floor overlook! Eggs “fly” every half hour.

10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Make & Take Bunny Copter – Ears make great wings in this STEM craft for all ages.
