Harmony Public Schools Completes a Clean Sweep of Top 3 High Schools by Children at Risk

(HOUSTON) – Harmony Public Schools is the top school district system for high schools in the greater Houston area according to Children at Risk. The Texas education non-profit placed Harmony Public Schools Houston – West, Houston- North, and Houston – South first, second, and third for high schools in with an “A” grade.

Harmony’s Houston West District ranked number two for Best Houston-area district overall and middle schools for the 2022-2023 school year.

Harmony Public Schools expects to open new schools in Bridgeland in Cypress, City Place in Spring, Pearland and Fresno.

Children at Risk analyzed more than 1,400 public schools from Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller counties. Each school was assigned ranks and grades based on raw student achievement, achievement relative to poverty levels, and year-over-year student growth. For high school, there’s a fourth metric of college readiness.
