Houston Arboretum’s Arbor Cup at Memorial Park Golf Course on Dec. 5 raises $85,000 for conservation and education programs

DETAILS: Houston Arboretum’s 13th annual Arbor Cup, “A Round in the Woods,” raised $85,000 to support the Arboretum’s vital conservation and education programs. More than 80 golfers participated in the event, the Arboretum’s biggest fall fund raiser, at Memorial Park Golf Course.

Winners included: Austin Davis, Stacy Sam, Hunter Linscombe, and Michael Phillips.

Tournament check in and brunch began at 10 a.m. with a scramble start at 11:30 a.m.

Open bar, lunch from Beck’s Prime, player gifts, and golf cart rentals were included with each team entry. The tournament concluded with awards, raffle prizes, and an open grill.

The Houston Arboretum recognizes Arbor Cup tournament chairs David Andrew and Tom Caughlin. Their efforts and innovation were pivotal to the event’s success.
