Senator Paul Bettencourt named “2023 Legislator of the Year” at ALEC’s National Policy Summit

The American Legislative Exchange Council awards Sen. Bettencourt for his property tax reduction SB 2 & 3 Austin, TX – Senator Paul Bettencourt (R-Houston) released the following statement after receiving the “2023 Legislator of the Year” award from ALEC after the passage and implementation of his record $18 billion property tax reduction plan, SB 2 and SB 3.
