Moody Gardens offers an exclusive media preview as the team of master ice carvers are in the process of creating these amazing towering ice sculptures with a 2023 theme called ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday. This internationally acclaimed team carves up 2 million pounds of ice in just 35 days to create one of the most spectacular holiday attractions in the region.

Details: Moody Gardens provides an exclusive first look inside ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday to see what transforming two million pounds of ice into majestic works of art looks like as the sculptures and scenes start to take shape. Witness first-hand the amazing skills of the Creative Arts and Attractions Ice Carving Team from Harbin, China hard at work inside the 28,000-square-foot tent that’s kept at a cool nine degrees.
ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday will be open Nov. 18, 2023 – Jan. 6, 2024. Other holiday attractions include Festival of Lights, A Christmas Wish Holiday Spectacular, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D, holiday 3D films, Arctic Slide, ice skating, train rides, New Year’s Eve Palooza, and more.
Attire: Due to the ICE LAND tent being a construction zone, all attendees are required to wear the appropriate closed-toe shoes during their visit. Hard hats and parkas will be provided.
