More than 250 students will compete next weekend

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will host their annual archery competition for Texas 4-H and FFA members next weekend. Traditionally held the week before Show, this is the first year the competition has moved to the fall, allowing for more students to participate.
More than 250 students between the ages of 8 and 18 will compete for cash and prizes. Preliminary rounds will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28 and the morning of Sunday, Oct. 29. The final rounds will start on Sunday at 1 p.m. Many of these students are the best in the state at their sport and compete at a national level as well.
There will be photo and video opportunities onsite as well as interview opportunities with student competitors.
