A Collaboration Between the Central Fort Bend Chamber and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce
The Central Fort Bend Chamber and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce presented the 2023 State of the County with Fort Bend County Judge KP George, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land.
This year’s event focused on Fort Bend County Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present and Advancing into the Future. County Judge George’s address featured several informative videos detailing the county’s history, progress, and future. Judge George also welcomed several county leaders to provide updates on how Fort Bend County is advancing into the future including: Economic Development Director Carlos Guzman, County Engineer J. Stacy Slawinski, P.E., Director of Information Technology & Chief Information Officer Robyn Doughtie, Assistant Chief Deputy Manuel F. Zamora, District Attorney Brian Middleton, Director of Health & Human Services Dr. Letosha Gale-Lowe, and Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Manager Greg Babst.
