Construction is underway on The Landing amenity complex in Cross Creek Ranch, a Johnson Development community located in Fulshear.
Situated on more than 4 acres, the lakeside complex includes a clubhouse, resort-style pool, splash pad with an aquatic playground, tennis courts, several play structures and open space. It was designed by Studio Red and is expected to open by summer 2024.
“Located in our last 300 acres to be developed, this will be our final large amenity complex for Cross Creek Ranch,” said Rob Bamford, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cross Creek Ranch. “Like our other recreation centers, it will be a place to relax, rejuvenate and connect with other Cross Creek Ranch residents.”
The Landing will be within walking distance of many homes within Cross Creek Ranch. It sits adjacent to Viola Randle Elementary, a Lamar Consolidated Independent School District campus slated to open in 2024..
This will bring a fourth pool to Cross Creek Ranch. Already open are the Adventure Island Waterpark, Flewellen Creek Pool and the resort-style pool at Greenthread Park. Residents also enjoy courts for tennis, basketball, wall-ball and pickleball, as well as a dog park, disc golf, soccer fields, a fitness center, numerous playgrounds and lakes for fishing and non-motorized boating.
Eight builders offer homes in Cross Creek Ranch priced from the $300,000s to more than $1 million. Planned for 6,000 homes, there are currently more than 5,300 homes in the 3,200-acre community.
