Thursday, April 20, 2023, Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) will be holding their Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at 11:30 AM at Shirley Acres.
NAM will be celebrating National Volunteer Appreciation Month, as well as its’ 40 year anniversary, by hosting over 300 volunteers at the luncheon. During the event, NAM will be recognizing five local National Charity League (NCL) chapters for their outstanding work. Together, these NCL chapters contributed over 2000 volunteer hours in 2022.
Northwest Assistance Ministries is a non-profit, community-based social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas such as food, shelter, health, education and domestic violence awareness and intervention. During its last fiscal year, NAM touched the lives of more than 122,000 people through its many programs and services.
