RodeoHouston Headliner Parker McCollum Surprises Fans, Caniacs at Hometown Raising Cane’s

Texas Country music star to serves up chicken fingers and memorable moments prior to opening night concert at RodeoHouston

Raising Cane’s and RodeoHouston headliner Parker McCollum teamed up for a special hometown lunch by serving ONE LOVE® – craveable chicken finger meals – to local Caniacs and fans at the Raising Cane’s located at 2127 W. Davis St. in Conroe today!

McCollum worked the drive-thru and counter, thoroughly enjoying his appearance and “shift” at Raising Cane’s. The Conroe native gave a shout out to Cane’s Founder and CEO Todd Graves for the opportunity to work at his hometown Restaurant, and even sang a few lyrics with local fans prior to his second RodeoHouston appearance, which kicks off the rodeo’s 2023 concert series as the opening night headliner on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

McCollum also surprised fans who turned out to Cane’s with 100 tickets to his headlining performance on Tuesday night at the Rodeo, made possible by Raising Cane’s.

“Anytime I can spend some time at home with family and friends, I’m happy,” McCollum said. “Thanks to my good friend Todd and the Crew at Raising Cane’s for making today possible, it was a blast to kick off this special week at my hometown Cane’s.”

Quickly rising in the ranks as one of the hottest names in Country music with hits like his multi-platinum selling “Pretty Heart” and platinum single “To Be Loved By You,” the 30-year-old Conroe native is known for writing his own songs and performing his eclectic mix of country, rock & roll and soul music. In 2021, McCollum signed with Universal Music Group, with whom he released Gold Chain Cowboy, which hit 60 on the Billboard 200 and sixth on the Billboard Top Country Album charts.

McCollum is already a star to everyone in Conroe and the greater Houston area, which was apparent with the long lines of fans trying to catch a glimpse and clamoring to take a selfie with Texas Country’s hottest rising star. He obliged as many as he could while also working quickly to deliver orders and hand out extra Cane’s sauce.

“We were proud to have my friend Parker at his hometown Cane’s today in Conroe, gearing up for his huge performance tomorrow as the headliner at the Houston Rodeo,” Graves said. “It’s amazing to see all his success, and we were glad to have him spend some time with Caniacs and fans today during this special week.”
